EQUAL EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES
The West Baton Rouge Parish School District shall place an emphasis upon the nondiscriminatory provision of educational opportunities for children and no person shall be excluded from participation in or denied the benefits of any education program or activity on the basis of race, color, disability, religion, creed, national origin, a natural, protective, or cultural hairstyle, age, or sex.
The Superintendent shall designate a member of the staff to investigate any and all complaints which may be brought against the district in regard to any alleged discriminatory action. Adequate procedures shall be developed and maintained to provide for prompt and equitable resolution of student complaints.
