EMPLOYEE ORGANIZATIONS

All personnel are encouraged to become active members of professional organizations at the local, state, and national levels.  Professional leave may be granted to staff members, principals, and teachers for the purpose of attending meeting of local state and national professional organizations and associates.  The West Baton Rouge Parish School Board, upon prior approval, may pay the official expenses of selected delegates to such meetings.  Expenses of staff members attending professional meetings may be paid, upon proper approval by the Superintendent or his/her designee, including the cost of substitutes, if required.
