GRANTS

The West Baton Rouge Parish School Board encourages the development of grant proposals which would provide funds for such programs as innovative projects and programs, feasibility studies, long-range planning, and research and development.  All proposed grants shall:

1. Be based on a specific set of internal objectives that relate to the established educational goals and objectives of the parish.
    

2. Provide measures for evaluating effectiveness of project objectives.
    

3. Assure compliance with all state and federal laws, and policies of the Board.

The grant proposals are to be approved by the Board before being submitted to the funding agency.  The Superintendent shall establish administrative guidelines for the processing of grant proposals to the Board for its approval.
