SUPERINTENDENT EVALUATION

The West Baton Rouge Parish School Board shall evaluate the Superintendent annually. The evaluation document, the evaluation procedure, and the schedule for evaluation shall be reviewed and agreed to by the Board and the Superintendent at a pre-evaluation conference.

The Board shall meet each June to discuss and adopt the Superintendent's personal system goals and performance objectives to be accomplished during the ensuing school year.  During July, the Superintendent will provide the Board with his/her recommendation for accomplishing these goals.  This will constitute the pre-evaluation conference.  At or about mid term, the Superintendent will give a progress report.  The form to be used for personal goals will be the appropriate form from the West Baton Rouge Parish Personnel Evaluation Plan. 

Using the form approved, the Board members shall rate individually, arrive at a consensus and share the results with the Superintendent.
