A Special Meeting of the West Baton Rouge Parish School Board was held this date with the following membership:

Present:

                  G. Alden Chustz, Jr., President, Dr. Atley D. Walker, Sr., Vice President, Burke Fiscus, Hayley Clouatre, Ronald LeBlanc, Sonceria Evans, Chareeka Grace, Matthew Daigrepont, Michael Maranto, Teri Bergeron

Absent:

                  None

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Ms. Grace

Superintendent Report: None

Consent Agenda Items: None

The next item was presentation of the End Consent Agenda:

#7  Superintendent Interviews: Charlotte Blanchard

The Board along with Mr. Bob Hammonds, WBR School Board General Counsel, introduced Ms. Charlotte Blanchard as the fifth interviewee.  Mr. Hammonds explained to the candidate that she had 10 minutes to give an opening statement, which would be followed by the Board asking their interview questions over a 40 minute period and finally Ms. Blanchard would be able to have a 10 minute closing of the interview.

Ms. Blanchard then gave her opening remarks. The Board then started the questioning process and Ms. Blanchard was able to give a closing statement. The Board thanked Ms. Blanchard for her time.

The Chairman declared the floor open for public comments.

No Action was taken at this time.

There being no further business to come before the board, the following resolution was offered by Mr. LeBlanc seconded by Dr. Walker:

Be it Resolved, That the meeting be adjourned.

The above resolution was adopted by the following vote:

Aye:     Mr. Fiscus, Mrs. Clouatre, Dr. Walker, Mr. LeBlanc, Mrs. Evans, Mrs. Grace, Mr. Daigrepont, Mr. Maranto, Mrs. Bergeron, Mr. Chustz
